Who We Are

Once likened to vanity jobs because it was only affordable to the privileged set, the role of fashion editor today still upholds a false narrative. Newsrooms overwhelmingly lack diversity, condone below-market pay and promote bullish content (and consumption) while blurring ethical lines between advertising.

Freebies, fashion shows and factitious demand keep a public gridlocked in consumption which is far from the truth. This changes now.

What We Do

In a weekly syndicated newsletter, Free Fashion Press highlights stories from boundary-pushing journalists, many of whom are our members. The Free Fashion Press platform intends to hold a community for open dialogue between members without retribution. This is achieved through workshops, fellowships, community events and more.

By becoming members, making donations and supporting journalists directly, our readers showcase their unwavering commitment to uncompromised news and pay equity in fashion media.

“Fashion media has never seen a collaboration like this before. I am proud to be part of an organization that looks to restore ethics in this industry.”
